Selling at auction is the fastest and safest way to sell. Selling your property or land at auction
1) Request an Auction Valuation
Get a professional valuation. Have the property or land valued by our experienced valuation team to establish a realistic market value. Request your free, no-obligation valuation.
2) Guide Prices
Instruct a solicitor to prepare the legal pack, which includes the title deeds, local authority searches, property information form, fixtures and fittings form, and any relevant leases.
If you do not have a solicitor at this stage, we can recommend auction specialist solicitors for this process.
3) Set Your Reserve Price
Agree on and set your reserve price, the minimum price you are willing to accept. This is confidential and known only to you and the auctioneer managing your property.
4) Marketing Your Property or Land
Your property will be listed in our auction catalogue, which is distributed to our mailing list of 90,000+ investors and motivated potential buyers.
Connect UK Auctions will handle all advertising for your property or land and it will be advertised on all the major portals and social media platforms to maximise exposure.
We will arrange for photographs as well as a virtual tour/drone footage to be taken of your property or land. Connect UK Auctions will arrange and conduct all viewings, and will deal with all the enquiries as they come through. We will update and communicate with you throughout the entire process.
5) Auction Day
You will be able to stream the auction live on our website, through our live auction channel Connect Realtime®, and be able to watch the bidding as the auction unfolds. Our live auctions are streamed to thousands worldwide and can be accessed using any device.
If the reserve price is met, the property will be sold to the highest bidder.
6) Exchange and Completion
Exchange takes place upon the fall of the gavel and we will request the deposit from the buyer which is accounted to your solicitor. The deposit is set at 5% of the purchase price and subject to a minimum of £5,000.
Completion typically occurs 28 days after exchange, unless agreed otherwise, at which point the remaining balance is paid, and ownership is transferred.
